FAQs

When does the Black Friday sale end?

On paper, Black Friday weekend is over, but so many retailers keep the deals live and going for days and even weeks longer than the Black Friday date. You can still make huge savings and grab a great discount even now, but we urge you to act fast, because there's no telling when they'll all be gone.

What time of year does TVs get cheaper?

As expected, Black Friday is a fantastic time of year to pick up TVs for a more affordable price. You'll see retailers slashing a couple hundred pounds off the original price, with savings unlikely to be matched at any other point of the year. Post-Christmas and January tend to be good, as retailers will try to eliminate their excess stock.

Can you mount a 50-inch TV on the wall?

A 50-inch TV is an ideal size for wall-mounting. It's still large enough for comfortable viewing from afar without being too heavy and putting pressure on the wall. You can still opt for a larger size, but we think this is perfect.

You'll need to note your chosen TV's VESA measurements and requirements and be aware that not every TV is suitable for wall mounting.

How to bring the best audio out of a TV?

While the built-in speakers of your chosen TV will do a fine job, we understand that you may want to bring the audio quality up a level. For that, you'll want to invest in an external audio source.

Speakers are a brilliant way to get surround sound and further enhance your viewing experience, but getting it right will take time, effort, and a fair bit of money. That's why we suggest you instead go for a TV soundbar. If your TV unit has shelves, you can simply place a soundbar below the TV and get noticeably richer audio quality without any hassle or much effort. Plus, there are bound to be some quality soundbars on offer around Black Friday.
