Amazon Prime Day
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Every July, Amazon has a massive list of huge discounts on a variety of products, available only to Prime members, on one special day.
Deals are released throughout the day on all types of products – from electronics, to baby gear, photography equipment and more. Discounts are generally on a par with Black Friday, and often focus on Amazon’s own gear such as the Echo, Show and Fire.
Unlike Black Friday, where everyone runs to Tesco to try to find a cheap TV, you can search for Prime Day deals from your sofa, at home or at work.
When is it?
Amazon Prime Day is July 15-16, 2019.
It starts at midnight on the 15th, so it lasts for two days this year. Get ready for new deals to be released across the site every hour.
I’m not a Prime member, so how can I take part?
Signing up to be a Prime member costs £7.99 per month, or £79 for the year if you pay up front (saving you £16.88).
Being a Prime member not only gives you access to exclusive deals, but also free delivery, Amazon music, and Prime Video.
Alternatively, sign up for a 30-day free trial, take advantage of the deals, and then cancel before the 30 days are up.
