When we reviewed the Logitech MX Keys we found it to be incredibly comfortable and responsive with a slew of extra features that make it a joy to use. Boasting multiple Easy-Switch Bluetooth connections, and dual unrestricted Windows and Apple iOS compatibility, the MX Keys is a highly flexible choice. It also benefits from a metal build for maximum strength and stability.

The Logitech MX Keys S has a significant battery life and charges quickly via USB C. A great Logitech innovation is that this keyboard integrates with any mouse that has the Logitech Flow system, allowing for seamless use across multiple devices.

Lastly, the keys are low profile and large enough, but accuracy is further improved by the fingertip contouring on each key. Despite being a membrane keyboard, it has been finely tuned and is super-responsive to use.

A budget keyboard doesn't have to be clunky or flimsy, and the MK270 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo proves just that. It's fairly compact and lightweight but also has that classic reliable keyboard feel. If you're the sort of user who just needs a keyboard that doesn't break the mould, with only a few unintrusive extras, this is it.

The keys themselves are large enough to be responsive without causing typos, and the row of dedicated function keys will always come in handy. It's a membrane keyboard and a little noisy for some, but we think that's fine for a keyboard costing well under £25.

And let's not forget this comes with a mouse, and they're both wireless. So, if you're running low on USB ports, the MK270 combo is an ideal choice as both devices connect via a single USB dongle.

With the G915 TKL Lightspeed, Logitech has created an excellent gaming keyboard that will give you the edge when gaming - whether that's a first-person shooter, Apex Legends, a round of Helldivers II, or just exploring the expansive world of Dragon's Dogma II. In ourLogitech G915 TKL LIGHTSPEED review, we found it to be an excellent performer with plenty of gamer-friendly features.

Crucially, it boasts a Game Mode button that deactivates the Windows key for disruption-free gaming. Add to that an RGB brightness control, and LIGHTSPEED wireless technology and you have a killer combination of looks and performance.

The Logitech Craft keyboard was designed for efficiency and precision. The keys are substantial and easily stand out, so you can wave goodbye to any mistypes.

What differentiates this keyboard from competitors is the dial located on the top left, which allows you to easily adjust the volume or modify levels on Photoshop and much more. The dial was crafted for creatives, as it automatically adapts to the app you're using.

Smart illumination is also an attractive bonus as it helps to create an immersive work experience because it automatically changes brightness levels depending on your lighting conditions. It's not the cheapest or the most expensive keyboard we've seen, but it is certainly one of the most friendly keyboards for creatives out there.

Pros

  • Beautiful design
  • Dial is ideal for creatives who use Adobe applications and more
  • Responsive automatic lighting

The G513 is designed for all-day use, so the ergonomics are fantastic, as is the included plush palm rest. The Carbon Black of the Logitech G513 is spectacular, and its brushed aluminium case has a premium feel too.

Certainly a favourite of keyboard users, the Logitech G513 has programmable RGB lighting included, which is great for making an eye-catching setup even more eye-catching.

That said, despite being able to program the F-key functions, there are no dedicated keys for things like play, pause, volume and so on. Not a huge issue, but media-hungry types might want to look for other Logitech models.

All in all, the build quality and comfort add up to a super-solid and responsive mechanical keyboard that's going to look after your wrists and palms while you use it.

Pros

  • Mechanical keys
  • Padded palm rest
  • Aluminium case

Cons

  • No dedicated media keys

  • Customer review: "Since I use this for both gaming and working from home I needed ten keys - and originally had a G512 SE which broke so replaced it with this. Love the layout of both, it's compact /minimalist as it's possible to be while also having those extra buttons."

The Logitech K780 is a great addition to any work-from-home setup, with a sturdy build and comfortable design. The unique element here is the built-in tablet and smartphone stand, which allows you to work seamlessly across several devices when coupled with the keyboard's multiple Bluetooth connections.

It's also compatible with most operating systems, so all in all, it's a versatile option - spanning Windows, Mac, Chrome OS and iOS. Despite being compact it is quite heavy, but reassuringly so. The layout may not suit those with larger hands, but given that this keyboard is designed to travel between various systems and devices, we think it strikes a great balance between size, usability and portability.

A fantastic full-size keyboard that's a fraction of the cost of others, this fairly standard keyboard is ideal for office workers in need of a solid keyboard in a pinch.

Of course, the Logitech K120 keyboard doesn't have the extensive features that other keyboard may have, and the overall quality of it isn't as exceptional as others on our list, but you get plenty for you money.

Despite being much cheaper than other keyboards on the market, the K120 is just as reliable, and you don't have to wait for it to charge to use it. Best quiet Logitech keyboard

Logitech Pebble 2 keyboardLogitech

Whisper quiet and compact, the Logitech Pebble 2 keyboard is stunningly designed for comfortable performance at an affordable price.

Perfect for fitting in your bag during your work commute and ultra-light thanks to its size, the Logitech Pebble 2 keyboard is perfect for small backpacks and tight desk spaces, where a full-size keyboard isn't going to cut it.

Certainly smaller than most keyboards out there, the Logitech Pebble 2 keyboard is ideal for quieter offices thanks to its almost silent scissor-switch keys and satisfyingly noiseless mouse. We had the chance to do a Logitech Pebble 2 keyboard review hands-on, giving it an in-depth look.

Best Logitech keyboard for the office

Logitech Signature K650 Wireless Keyboard with Wrist RestLogitech

The perfect companion to any desk job, the Logitech Signature K650 is perhaps one of the most comfortable Logitech keyboards for its price.

This full-size programmable keyboard is ideal for long days typing away or even more technical tasks such as spreadsheet calculations or video editing.

We particularly like the K650's cube-like keys, which offer a deep pressing feel when actuated. But this deep-cushioned key doesn't click loudly, instead it whispers softly, making it absolutely brilliant for quieter libraries for studying or noise-sensitive office goers.

At £50, this keyboard is on the more expensive side for what it is: despite having programmable shortcut keys, these features are still limited. But if you're looking for top-tier comfort, you can't go wrong with a built-in palm rest, it really makes the difference.

Pros

  • Excellent comfort with large wrist rest
  • Easy to connect with multiple devices
  • Quiet typing and comfortable deep-cushioned keys

Cons

  • Fairly expensive despite its lack of features
  • Performance:
    4.0
  • Build:
    4.5
  • Features:
    4.0
  • Value for money:
    4.5
Size:194 x 457 x 24.3 mm (H x W x D)
Connectivity:USB Wireless/Bluetooth
Backlighting:N/A
Switches:Comfort Deep-Cushioned Keys
Battery:Up to 36 months
  • Customer review: "Plastic feels pretty good and the buttons are soft and cushy. It is very quiet so is good for someone who works late in the evenings with people resting in adjacent rooms."

Best Logitech keyboards: Buyer's guide

Choose function over form

It's tempting to rule out a great keyboard just because the keys are chunkier, or have a lower profile, than the one you're used to. But really, for many users, changing keyboards needs a little getting used to. If you're willing to have a go (perhaps try out a friend's first) on a keyboard with a slightly different feel, a whole world of keyboard options is open to you. But, let's look at narrowing down the features that will suit various kinds of users:

Casual users

For those who like to browse the web, do internet shopping, watch videos and so on, the best Logitech keyboard will have handy function keys. For instance, being able to play or pause a video, adjust the volume or launch your browser from special buttons is super convenient. It's a bonus if your keyboard will also connect via a single dongle with your Logitech mouse, as this saves you from needing two USB ports on your computer.

Gamers

A gamer is clearly a special breed of keyboard user. Each will have a game of choice, and each game has its own control scheme. For that reason it's important to look at the keyboard layout, and also customisable keys that support various game profiles. That will make for easy switching between customisations depending on the game you're playing.

Gamers also like their keyboards to look cool and light up - handy for those late-night sessions. But programmable RGB lighting effects can also enhance and sync with in-game action too, much like the Logitech G915 LIGHTSPEED above. Some gaming keyboards favour mechanical keys too, and wired connections, due to their responsiveness.

Writers

Anyone who writes for their day job, budding authors, or any heavy keyboard user will know the frustration of making typos due to the profile or layout of the keys. So, the mantra here is: try before you buy. Every writer is different - some prefer mechanical keys for that typewriter look and feel (and sound...). Others prefer membrane keys that are low profile and quiet to use. Extra functions like those seen on gaming keyboards are much less of a priority here, although backlighting is one obvious benefit to anyone writing into the night.

And let's not forget ergonomics. Yes, you can find all kinds of keyboards that come in strange shapes and sizes - but these are the exception rather than the rule when it comes to usability. The main thing here is to look after your wrist and palm comfort. Much like the Logitech G513 Gaming Keyboard above, look for additional rests to keep RSI at bay.

Designers

Creatives definitely have a combination of needs from all three of the categories above. They're heavy keyboard users with one eye on aesthetics, but they also need ergonomic and programmable functions to aid creativity.

In summary

With all of that said, try to put function over form. Look for the functions you need the most, whether that's the feel of the keys or dedicated functions like backlighting. If you'll be needing programmable keys, or connecting to multiple computers, that should be your first port of call. Look at the shape and style second.

Pay attention to the connection type

If you're running low on USB ports, or don't have Bluetooth on your device, your choice of connection type is crucial. Logitech's unifying connection technology has been a real plus for many users who have limited ports. A unifying USB dongle will bring all of the compatible mouse and keyboards together under one connection. If you know you're going to be using Bluetooth a lot with phones and tablets, then that's your priority. Thankfully most Logitech devices support both Bluetooth and wifi connections. Some will even work while charging via cable.

Wired versus wireless

This is much less of a debate than it used to be, thanks to improvements in battery life and responsiveness. Even gamers can find a Logitech keyboard with a 1ms latency for pro-level speed. But the real question here is: Do you like wire clutter or would you prefer to keep things neat? Yes, it's a loaded question, but still worth consideration. Some people prefer to forget about battery life, recharging and so on in favour of a wired keyboard and mouse. If you're good with cable management and want to take this option, there's no reason why you can't be perfectly happy with a wired setup. You might even save a few pounds as well. But, given that the latest wireless keyboards from Logitech are so fast and reliable, we think wireless is the de facto preference for most users.
