The 1MORE Aero bud earbuds

Real-time spatial audio, smart loudness technology, customisable studio-grade EQ presets, an AI-powered microphone, and wireless charging - the 1MORE Aero wireless earbuds are some of the most ambitious budget earbuds I've ever had the pleasure of trying out. Designed by famed four-time Grammy award-winning sound engineer Luca Bignardi, these are clearly aiming to rank among the best headphones around.

With a respectable 42dB of noise cancellation and a fantastic frequency range of 40-4000 Hz, delivering crisp snares, hearty bass, and precise vocals all in one, the 1MORE Aero earbuds undeniably bring a fantastic level of depth despite their less-than-£100 price.

What seems to be far too good to be true, with a myriad of cutting-edge in-built technical goodness is in fact reality, 1MORE's Aero earbuds offer plenty of marvellous, bass-filled rich sound, unfathomable comfort, and an untethered frequency spectrum to quench even the most diverse selection of albums of any audiophile, but such quality does not come without a price.

Verdict: Fantastic value, at a price

Score: 4/5

1MORE Aero Wireless Earbuds with Spatial Audio
Price: $84.99

Pros

  • Fantastic value
  • Solid sound with plenty of bass
  • Great noise-cancelling for budget earbuds

Cons

  • Slightly delicate build quality
  • Touch controls could be more precise

What's good?

The very first, demonstrably brilliant aspect of the 1MORE Aero buds is without question, the insane value of these terrific earbuds. Packed with enough impressive tech, EQ customisation and audio grunt to make your head spin, there's no question that these are some of the most affordable high-quality earbuds on the market right now.

Paired with an unfathomable 7 hours of charge with fast charging capabilities and to top it all off - wireless charging (which even some of the more expensive earbuds are yet to acquire), 1MORE's Aero earbuds are the epitome of practical power on the go.

Comfortability is also solid, with earbuds feeling almost weightless even in prolonged use - and sporting the iconic pointed look, they look fantastic too.

Train hard this year with our favourite wireless earbuds - easy to use, hassle-free, and ultra-powerful, it's all there.

What's okay?

The charging case, while fantastic for off-the-cuff rapid charging, and being conveniently small for gym short pockets or quickly stashing on the go, has a slightly weaker magnet than we'd hoped for, leading to potential earbud mishaps should you drop it.

When it comes to going toe-to-toe with the top-tier earbuds, the overall sound, while admirable, isn't earth-shattering. If you're looking for huge bass and silent noise cancellation, you simply aren't going to get that at this price range. Be that as it may, the 1MORE aero earbuds remain very impressive for the cost.

Any negatives?

In terms of negatives, my primary concern is the 1MORE Aero earbud's durability. As a gym-goer - where a loose earbud or unavoidable case drop is a daily occurrence, the material of the Aero earbuds feels somewhat delicate - squat enthusiasts, you've been warned.

Then there are the touch controls, which are a little unintuitive during use due to the length of the earbuds themselves, leading to some frantic tapping and frustration, but after some prolonged use, you'll doubtlessly find yourself skipping songs effortlessly.

Crack out the vinyl and crank up the bass, here are the best speakers for vinyl players - the ultimate way to enjoy some analogue nostalgia.
