The new Fossil x Space Jam collection is bursting with 90s nostalgia

No, you haven't been transported back to the 90s, but yes, the world has gone mad for Space Jam once more. To celebrate the release of Space Jam: A New Legacy, which hits cinemas on 16 July, watch brand Fossil has launched a new collection - and it's sure to delight those who love a bit of nostalgia.

From 7 July, fans of the looney basketball franchise will be able to get their hands on a load of collectable accessories, such as limited-edition watches, backpacks, cardholders and more. They're all adorned with our favourite Tune Squad characters, including Bugs Bunny, Lola Bunny, Daffy, Tweety and Marvin.

About the collection, Steve Evans, EVP Chief Brand Officer, said, "As a brand long inspired by American heritage and iconic moments in culture, Space Jam by Fossil pays homage to what makes this new movie, Space Jam: A New Legacy, so exciting for all ages — beloved characters, reimagined storytelling, and bold visuals.

Whether you saw the previous movie in theatres 25 years ago or are joining the fan club with fresh eyes today, Space Jamby Fossil honours the Tune Squad’s adventurous spirit and classic lineup that has made them icons across generations."

We're big fans of a little trip down memory lane, so here are our favourite bits from the collection:

The All Stars Collection of watches and card cases features five colourful, limited-edition designs, each starring a top Tune Squad player. All five watch designs are paired with a sport-ready silicone strap, colour-coded bezel to match each character’s look and feature a specially etched caseback.

In the Slam Dunk Collection, the Tune Squad’s most iconic duo, Bugs Bunny and Lola Bunny, take centre court on two dynamic watch designs, each paired with a limited-edition bag tag and commemorative coin.

And finally, made in a limited edition of just 75 sets, the Tune Squad Box Set is the ultimate collector’s item. Flip open the lid to find a locker room full of interchangeable straps and swag, including a special-edition watch featuring an image-changing lenticular dial that depicts your favourite Tune Squad players. Then, hit the court with collectable team figurines for a game-time experience right on top of the box.
