If you're looking outside your window wondering how on earth it's currently July, we're with you. The weather isn't exactly what we had in mind in the lead-up to summer, but thanks to the impending heatwave set to hit the UK this week, things are finally starting to look up.

So, with the weather app giving us some good news, it's time to start planning your sun-filled weekend, and we've got just the summer beverage to accompany you on all your shenanigans. Introducing: Smirnoff's Raspberry Crush Vodka.

A summery take on a classic, the raspberry drink is packed with natural flavouring from pink raspberries, giving us a smooth and sweet taste. You can enjoy this fruity new beverage mixed with some lemonade and ice, as recommended by the brand, or in your favourite summer cocktail for a bit of a twist.

Speaking on the new launch, Nick Payman, head of Smirnoff, said, "The launch of Smirnoff Raspberry Crush is a big step towards further invigorating the vodka category. Smirnoff, a renowned and trusted brand, is perfectly placed to do this as well as recruit new audiences to vodka. The vibrancy of the new pack and liquid, from its colour to its taste, will provide maximum stand out on shelf and menu appeal for the trade to capitalise on."

You can pick up a 70cl bottle online at Drinks Supermarket for £16.49, with expected availability from 15 July. You can also pre-order the drink on Amazon.
