When you think of Diptyque, you think of high-quality, rich-scented candles that look great on your coffee table and fill your home with a luxurious aroma. The Parisian perfume brand knows exactly how to make fragrances that turn heads, and this brand new release is no exception.

The two scents released on 2 July are inspired by Charles and Marie-Laure de Noailles, French art patrons and owners of Villa Noailles, an avant-garde arts centre built in the 1920s. The couple is known for their influence on modern art throughout the 1920s and 1930s, supporting projects by renowned artists such as Salvador Dali, Man Ray and many more.

The first scent, Romarin (Rosemary) was created in honour of Charles De Noailles and his favourite plant - rosemary. The candle is woody and aromatic and gives off a wonderful earthy aroma.

The second candle is named Lilas (Lilac) after Maria-Laure de Naoilles' favourite flower. The scent is sweet, spicy and powdery at the same time, ideal for those who enjoy a floral fragrance.
