A buyer's guide to women's joggers

Should joggers be tight or baggy?

The eternal debate, should joggers hug your curves or hang loose? Tighter joggers will accentuate your shape and keep everything in place during the most intense workouts. But, baggy joggers, they give the illusion of laid-back cool, offering a carefree alternative to tight jogging bottoms. Saying that, if you don't want to make the decision between the two - why not invest in both? Baggy joggers for when you want to feel more relaxed, and tighter for times you want to feel fierce.

How do I style joggers?

Jogging bottoms are perhaps one of the easiest items to style. Especially if there's a matching hoodie or sweatshirt available. Over the top of your matching sweat set, throw on a staple (and neutral if possible) wool longline coat. We're talking down to the ankles. Some chunky trainers and an interesting bag will always elevate the look too.

For the gym, styling joggers is also pretty easy. Jogging bottoms go with a sports bra or gym top, and your favourite pair of gym trainers. And although you might not be completing a HIIT workout wearing your joggers, if they're super oversized you'll be able to fit a pair of workout shorts under them. So when you get to the gym, you can take the joggers off and workout in something cooler.

Are women's joggers still in style?

Jogging bottoms have certainly solidified their status as a timeless fashion staple. From the streets to the runways, these bottoms have proven their staying power season after season. So, of course they're still in fashion, and it's unlikely they'll ever go out. Like we said at the start, a good pair of joggers are an investment for life.
