The Boys
A series that’s becoming a true staple for Prime Video needs no introduction. The Boys came along at a very well-needed time. Though many won’t want to admit, the superhero genre had become somewhat stagnant across the board. Marvel’s do-good MCU was beginning to decline in cinematic originality, and DC still couldn’t find their footing.
Outrageous, jaw-dropping, and darn right fun is what The Boys has been for three seasons strong. It’s become one of Prime’s flagship shows, and it’s one of the few TV series in a long time that’s made viewers question “did they really just do that?” virtually every episode.
Karl Urban and Jack Quaid star as an unlikely duo along with their ragtag group of vigilantes who will stop at nothing to hunt down morally corrupt supes who abuse their (not so) God given powers.
Gen V
Speaking of The Boys, the world of unruly superheroes and slimy corporations just got even bigger with Gen V. A direct spin off of the hit TV series showcases the first generation of superheroes that know their powers originated from compound V. The naïve group of youngsters must survive the trials and politics of Godolkin University, the number one institution for gifted teens that might not be all it’s cracked up to be.
Season two has already been announced, and the first season has already ticked all the right boxes. Same recipe, fresh story.
The Grand Tour
Automotive fans around the world weren’t best pleased in 2015 after hearing the news that cult show Top Gear would be no more. What Top Gear followers weren’t too keen on either was the show’s reboot that came less than a year later replacing the timeless trio of Clarkson, Hammond, and May. There was a glimmer of hope though, because in that very same year, Amazon saved the day and The Grand Tour was born.

Based on the comic book of the same name, Robert Kirkman’s Invincible made its adaptation to the small screen back in 2021. The Amazon original series is an adult cartoon form the mind of Robert Kirkman – famous for The Walking Dead comics and its eventual adaptation to television.
A young superhero faces the challenges that come with the world’s most powerful superhero being your father, some of which become far darker and more worrisome than he could’ve possibly imagined.
