The Ooblets Port Forward update has been announced at Wholesome Direct 2021. The update is out now.
The update to Ooblets, the early access cute life-sim title, includes a new region to explore, as well as new Ooblets, mini-games, crops and recipes. Immediately following the reveal, Glumberland posted more details on the Ooblets official blog. This includes a long list of all the updates and new mechanics.
According to the blog post, the new mini-games are of particular importance, playing a role in allowing players to progress with what the update offers. We’re keeping things spoiler-free, but you can head over to the blog for a more detailed explanation.
Ooblets is available for download on PC and Xbox One.

Wholesome Games is an organisation that works to bring attention to indie developers and their games. Wholesome Direct is a show designed to highlight a wide selection of these games in one place.
The criteria? That a game is in some form cute, cosy, funny, kind and, well, wholesome. Often, as is often the case with indies, the games also have a unique, playful and experimental quality.
