While Logitech is often pushing the market forward with its innovative technology, it's fair to say that the brand hasn’t offered much diversity when it comes to colour choices. Much like car manufacturer Ford in the 1900s, you can have a Logitech peripheral in any colour you want – so long as it’s black. Well, no more.

Logitech has announced that it will be launching the all-new G733, a wireless gaming headset packing that sits at the centre of the Logitech G-Series Colour Collection. This range comprises of some of the brand’s latest gear in new colourways, including the G305 Gaming Mouse and G915 TKL Gaming Keyboard. According to Ujesh Desai, GM of Logitech G, this new range is aiming to please those gamers looking to match peripherals with “their individual style and personality”.

The Logitech G733 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset is expected to launch in September for £129.99.

In terms of the look, the Logitech G733 Gaming Headset certainly stands out from the rest of the brand’s catalogue. Available in white, black and lilac, the headset carries G-Hub controlled full-spectrum RGB lighting, which is front-facing and therefore clearly visible on camera. The over-head strap is also stylised, carrying a splash of colour and pattern to brighten the looks further – this is particularly effective on the white and lilac. The detachable mic can also be used to add a little fun and personality to the headset’s look via Logitech’s playful mic covers (sold separately). The product looks slimline too, and the ultra-lightweight seems to attest to this fact, as the headset weighs in at 278g. As a point of reference, the G365 headset, which is similar in design, weighs in at 344g.

Though it’s all fun on the outside, the headset’s internals appear to be all business. The microphone uses the industry-leading Blue VO!CE advanced filters, and the drivers are PRO-G, which offer superb quality. Virtual surround sound is brought to the user via DTS Headphone X 2.0, and the wireless connection runs on Logitech’s highly regarded LIGHTSPEED tech. Similar specifications have earned Logitech G’s much more restrained Pro X and Pro X LIGHTSPEED headsets an excellent reputation in the marketplace.

This range includes black and white variation of the Logitech G915 TKL Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, and Black, White, Blue and Lilac versions of the Logitech G203 Gaming Mouse and G305 Wireless Gaming Mouse.

The G915 TKL Gaming Keyboard retails for £199, while the Logitech G305 retails for £49.99 and the Logitech G203 LIGHTSPEED Gaming Mouse retails for £34.99. All products are expected to be available in September of 2020.
