According to Tom Henderson, who's well known in the world of gaming for his insider knowledge (like the potentially long delays for the release of GTA 6), Call of Duty 2021 has been updated on with a new name: Call of Duty: Slipstream. A logo also accompanied the name change, which is definitely reminiscent of WWII.

It's not yet known if Slipstream is the official title or simply a project codename. Most people are leaning towards the latter. Call of Duty leaks are not uncommon, such as The Red Door, which became Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

According to reports, the game will return to WWII and with this new reveal, could be taking to the skies. The project was previously titled Vanguard, and could be announced at the PlayStation State of Play event, rumoured to be taking place this summer.
