If you're not into iPhones, and much prefer android smartphones instead, then we've got news for you.
After much anticipation, the Xperia 10 III is finally (almost) here. It will officially be released on June 10, 2021, from selected network operators and retailers, however, you can pre-order it now from the Sony website.
It's available in three different colours, black, blue and white. It has an RRP of £399 SIM-free. This model is a significant upgrade from its predecessor as it now boasts a battery of 4,500mAh and supports 5G, meaning you can access, download and stream content much faster than before.
It additionally features a crystal clear FHD+ OLED display which will make for an awesome viewing experience, whether you're streaming videos or binge-watching your favourite TV series, the FHD+OLED display provides vibrant and crisp images.
We love that it's IP65/IP68 rated, meaning it is water and dust resistant. Its sleek and lightweight design is also an added perk. The screen is made from Corning Gorilla Glass 6, which means you won't need to worry too much about scratches, and it can resist screen cracks if dropped from a distance up to 1.6 metres.
Any photography enthusiasts will be pleased to know it has a triple-lens camera with several features such as animal detection, which is supposedly capable of identifying what animal it is focusing on. Great for Instagram shots of your beloved dog or cat.
In terms of the chipset, it has the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 690 5G Mobile Platform, which is pretty powerful. Sony claims that due to the chipset, the device will easily be able to easily handle games, apps, and movies. It's also stated that it's very power efficient.
When it comes to Wi-Fi connectivity, the Xperia has a Smart connectivity feature, which ensures that you're utilising the network with the best connection quality. It does this by analysing the Wi-Fi quality before connection.
We were pleasantly surprised with the RRP, as it seems to be a rather feature-packed and powerful smartphone, but what's truly impressive is that if you pre-order the Xperia 10 III now, you'll receive a free pair of Sony WH- CH710N Noise Cancelling headphones worth £130.
It's important to note that this offer is only valid until 10 June, which is when the smartphone will officially be released and available to purchase.
