If you're thinking about how you can make this time special for your family, here at What's The Best, we've pulled together a guide around how to make your own Easter eggs and the best kits to make it easier.

How to make your own Easter eggs:

Instead of buying a shop-bought chocolate egg, let's turn this into a fun activity with your household, shall we?

Step one: To make your own Easter egg, you'll need a lot of chocolate - we'd recommend around 500g, if you're making quite a few.

Step two: Grab a microwave-safe bowl and break up the chocolate pieces.

Step three: Put the chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds. If it hasn't melted, put it in for 30 more seconds - checking every 10 seconds.

Step four: Once the chocolate has melted, you can pour it into your chocolate mould.

Step five: Put this in the fridge for at least 10 to 20 minutes and wait for the chocolate to set.

Don't have a chocolate mould? Don't worry, we've pulled together a list of the best chocolate moulds.
